HI all,
When you optimize your site for social networks with us and when your visitors click on a like button on your site, a new pop up is now triggered.
(You will also notice a new design and color for the button, our congratulations to the design team, light but sexy changes)
This pop up proposes a better view of what the user is actually sharing by the action of liking the content. It retrieves your open graph meta datas.
Facebook has started making visible the open graph meta datas on the Facebook site when someone liked a content on your site (See previous article).
Now, Facebook start making visible your open graph tags in a pop up on your site when someone has clicked on a like button.
The optimization of your website for Facebook is paying more and more with this new feature.
Here’s the new render of the like button once it has been clicked by your visitor on your opengraphy optimized website :

If it doesn’t display the right image or the right messages when your buttons are clicked, just contact OpenGraphy to optimize your social code via the implementation of our application.
By adding this feature, Facebook is improving the way people can interact with your content and is triggering more and more conversations between your visitors and their respective community.
The comment box is more visible and the big blue button will motivate your visitors to publish a comment when they have liked a content on your site. Cold likes are becoming hot conversation boosters.
The easier it is to comment on your site, the more trafic you will receive back from your likers’ connections. And the like button is making it easy.
You didn’t have a comment box on your site ? By adding a like button, you can – at least – trigger the communication within your visitors’ respective community. The messages will be only visible on Facebook inside your visitors’ communities newsfeed.
If you use the full facebook comment box, the conversation can be triggered on your site, continue on Facebook and all the conversation will be displayed on your site, even when commented on Facebook.
Via the optimization of your content with our facebook application and open graph, you can retrieve what is said on Facebook right on your site.
Try to like this article you are reading now. When the pop up is fired, add a comment, then click on the publish button.
You will see that your comment is displayed both on facebook and on opengraphy.com below. (if what you share is visible to everyone, please, check your privacy settings.)
The conversation can start directly from the like button, and make a ping pong between facebook and your site.
It also means that your website can completely merge with Facebook and become a nice part of the eco-system.
All this will help you drive more free trafic cause you will enhance your visitors’ potential to become the ambassadors of your content towards their communities.
Reach your visitors’ connection in one click, and make your visitors interact more with your content.
Socialize your website with OpenGraphy !
